Albert Sardar, Esq., Of Counsel
Mr. Sardar is of counsel to Silverman& Sardar LLP. He is highly skilled at navigating many types of real estate transactions - both commercial (retail office, industrial, and mixed-use) and residential - that involve properties located in New York City, the surrounding boroughs and across the United States, including acquisitions and dispositions, commercial development, and leasing.
Mr. Sardar also has widespread experience in the area of retail law, including the acquisition, sale and leasing of retail and mixed-use properties, lease restructurings, condominium developments (retail and mixed-use), and counseling clients on lease issues (such as exclusives, radius restrictions, assignment/subletting and "going dark") in anticipation of and during a lease dispute.
Additionally, Mr. Sardar has experience negotiating complex shopping center leases and appearing before various state courts in New York. Over the years, Mr. Sardar has developed a working relationship with many of the major shopping center developers in the United States.
Mr. Sardar is also familiar with prosecuting and defending landlord-tenant matters in New York City and the surrounding boroughs.
Mr. Sardar earned his Juris Doctorate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey.
